Our food and beverage program is shaped by the culinary vision of five-time James Beard semifinalist Chef Steven Brown and brought to life each day by Executive Chef Brandon Hurley.

Chef Steven Brown

As a five-time James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef Midwest, Chef Steven Brown has over 30 years of experience—from small-town kitchens in South Dakota to the Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Italy. A fixture in the Twin Cities dining scene, he’s the chef-owner of Tilia and St. Genevieve in South Minneapolis and a proud partner at Giulia.

Chef Brandon Hurley

Growing up in an Italian neighborhood in Philadelphia, Chef Brandon Hurley found a lifelong passion for Italian cuisine. After refining his skills at spots like French Meadow Café, he now co-leads Giulia with James Beard finalist Chef Steven Brown. Hurley is expanding the house-made pasta program and spearheading the new Chef’s Counter, continuing to elevate Giulia as a top destination for modern Italian dining in Minneapolis.
